Features
Turn off what this project doesn't use. It's hidden from the sidebar and menus for everyone. Nothing is deleted, and List, Board, Table and Milestones are always on.
States
The steps items move through. Each state belongs to one of five fixed categories, which reports, My Work and cross-project views use to compare progress. Board columns follow this order.

Work item types
Every project uses these types. Hover a type's icon anywhere in iPM for a reminder.
- Epic
- A large piece of work, such as a feature or a phase, that runs for weeks. Set it as the parent of the stories, tasks and bugs it's made of.
- Story
- A change described from the user's side: something they'll be able to do once it's done. Small enough to finish in a sprint.
- Task
- One concrete piece of work with a clear finish line, often technical or internal, such as setting up CI or writing a runbook.
- Bug
- Something that's broken or behaves wrongly. Say what happened, what you expected, and how to reproduce it.
